The Global Internship Track offers students and alumni of Edible Edu’s educational institutions a unique summer internship experience at Fairmont Private Schools in California, designed to cultivate independence, responsibility, leadership, and essential life skills through meaningful, hands-on experience.

As Camp Counselors-in-Training (CITs), participants gain firsthand exposure to the planning, preparation, and daily operations of summer camp programs. Working alongside experienced educators and camp leaders, they learn how ideas are developed into structured plans, how activities are organized and coordinated, and how thoughtful preparation and teamwork contribute to successful outcomes.

Through active participation in a real school environment, students develop practical communication and collaboration skills as they interact with fellow counselors, teachers, and program leaders. They learn to take initiative, manage responsibilities, adapt to unexpected challenges, and approach problems with confidence and a solution-oriented mindset.

Beyond gaining practical experience, the program encourages students to recognize the value of commitment, accountability, mutual respect, and contributing to a shared goal. By stepping beyond the role of a student and experiencing what it means to support and lead others, participants develop greater self-awareness, maturity, and independence.
